Well this am while at the Flying J in Blacksburg SC the truck finally took a dump. Per DOT reg while carrying HazMat I shut it off before fueling, loaded the tanks, and no restart. Being an automatic transmission there is a sensor that tells computer in truck is in Neutral , that is shot...and of course part not in stock at Peterbilt in Charlotte. And to end all when we towed it off fuel lane the body torqued and windshield cracked.....so I am in motel hell in Charlotte, waitin.....and it is way too hot.....
Beau hates the weather, 7 hours in a truck no A/C no shade....great day............................

You haven't been having any kind of good fortune with that truck... And it's new too?

I thought this was the rig you went to OK to get. Did it miss a million mile tune-up?
Actually I can understand computer sensors failing. Especially if what they are supposed to protect you from is less likely to happen then to have the sensor fail. And then there are the systems that should have monitoring that don't and end up costing you a few grand to fix.
