I have just learned that ShortyBP is unable to access the OMHW forum from the secret US gov't facility's network where he is employed.
Even trying to crack the security net as none other than "Shorty Escobar" (narco-terrorist) , he is still unable to get on our forum.
SO, now is your time, if you need to say anything about the Short-One, feel free to do so.

Shorty's actual problem with the chrono isn't the fact that he can not chrono any one of many paintball guns, but from the simple fact that he, Shorty suffers from a long bought of attention disorder. the case study sees Shorty using the "chrono" problem as a way for him to be and get invovled in any aspect of his life. he needs the attention of someone, anyone "helping" him chrono his paintball guns.
an early sign of this was the infamous "cross-dressing" pic. you see, any red-blooded(liberal or conservative) would have done what he had to get the attention of the six foot, very beautiful blinde that was pictured with him in the picture, but he could not sustain the attention for that, as when any "normal" person would have done the cross-dressing as a one time fling or lark, as you will, Shorty had continued to do so until the attention from the leggy blonde had wained enough that Shorty had needed to move onto a new avenue for his disorder, which now has manifested into his paintball addiction.
granted, Meg, had seen another simptum for his attention with his "whoring" of finding a "working" gun, but as the marriage was finalized, and Shorty lost the ability to control his funds, he had to move on. we can only hope that Meg could and will be intelligent enough to see any other signs of his disorder and put a stop to it. unfortunetly, we are too late to handle his "Philipino shoe fetish", as that is more genetic, than a disorder of his mind.
so please, any time that you can see any means of helping Shorty, do so. this problem is to large for Shorty to handle alone, and only his friends can give him the strength to over come this horrible affliction.
thank you, and please wipe the coffee off his or her monitors. cumputer monitors perfer decafe over regular.

nope, unlike you slackers, i have already put in an 8 hour work day or night as the case maybe.
there will not be any changes in sleeping habits, or clothing. the appologises have been accepted, and mostly forgotten, till its being brought up again, which doesn't lend well to the "forgive & forget" portion. i can't say that there will be any retribution on my half, or on my behalf, as EE has enough problems to deal with. i think its torture enough of him, rooting for the "DEAD Sox", drinking his "Slimey Adams" and using his shovels as paintball guns' Tippmanns. i thikn the poor fellow has suffered enough. guess that's why he is finally thinking the right way and going to get a Tac One from AGD.
Nobody shoots and scores, like a football player rapist with a hand full of GBH at a rave.

Bushmaster is a manufacturer of assault rifles basically Colt M-4 Clones. I know you use yours to shot possum so the ol' lady has something fresh to cook you in your Pensilvania Beverly Hillbillies Shack.

Dredley is doing great, considering he is missing the half of the brain responsbile for thinking.  .223 is a superb varminting round. For anything under 120 lbs. and out to 200 yards, the .223 would be my choice. From groundhog to coyote, the .223 gets there in a hurry and does the damage. .223 will literally turn a groundhog into a sack of jelly. Anything larger than a small deer, and I would skip right over the weak 7.62x39, and go right to my favorites large bores, .308 or 30.06 which have over Double the knockdown power, much higher muzzle energy, with roughly the same cross-sectional density. The 30.06 can take down anything in NorthAmerica, so , that's good enough for me. Elk, Bear, whatever. Hit one of these small East Coast WhiteTails and it's like you hit them with a pick-up truck. No tracking of game necessary. They Stop, Drop, and don't Roll. If I ever got to Africa or Asia, I'd "Biggie" size to a .460 Weatherby mag round. Elephant or Hippo, anyone? (Although someone we know was shooting .308 rounds at a Hippo, but cheating by using Full Auto). I don't see Varminters building any rifles based on the 762x39, but I have seen tons of them chambered in .223. From the web: Since varmints are generally smaller animals, large, heavy bullets are not needed. A light, fast bullet gives a flat trajectory, making range estimation less vital for accurate shot placement. .22 caliber (5.56 mm) rounds being the most common. Calibers such as .223 Remington, .22-250, .220 Swift, and .25-06 are common. My comment: The 22-250 is one mean mutha. We used to shoot crows, with a farmers permission and blessing. I had the .223, my friend had a Remington bolt gun in 22-250. the .223 would take care of business, no doubt, but the 22-250 would "smoke em" like a shotgun with a clay target. The crows would literally vaporize before your eyes!!! No mess, no chunks of meat, just feathers floating to earth. Shock and awe to the max. I'd like to hear from Kornball, when he gets back from RoR, since he's our Midwestern Deer hunter. I'll bet he has some thoughts on his favorite calibers. |

Well my father has hunted big game all over North America. He only uses one caliber 30.06.
There are just to many reasons to list why he uses that round. The biggest reason is it is one of the best known and used so there is a huge selection of reloading supplies and weapons to choose from. Second it is a great combination of mass and velocity providing excellant take down power.
On a hunting trip in Newfoundland my father shot a Moose, one shot several hundred yard out and the Moose stumbled. As my father chambered another round the guide said wait we can track it my father shot it again dropping it where it stood and told the guide "I don't chase anything"

I never said the 30.06 wasn't a great caliber, my dad uses a 30.06 and it will drop a whitetail before it knows what hit it. for PA white tail it may be a little overkill, a .243 works fine on what we have up here. .223 is a good round but I was trying to make elvis cry.... Its also accurate out WAY past 200 yards. The 22-250 is just a SICK round, designed for one thing... to make little furry critters go POP... I really wouldn't use a .223 on tree rat, ther wouldn't be anything left. for ground hogs and coyotes it will do the trick, and it is normally a cheaper round to buy then the 22-250 or other "odd" calibers. |

I think out of everyone on OMHW, only EvilElvis is still playing paintball (magfed). A bunch of us still keep in touch, and get together in the fall to camp/hangout/shoot firearms.
