My nabor who has sold me 5 or 6 of my toy's called me today. He had another one up for sale. A 1986 Weatherly Model 92, 12 gauge shotgun. New in box that he won in a raffle 24 years ago. I figured he could use the cash so I bought it.
Now this is a real nice piece but I really didn't need another 12 gauge shotgun.
If anybody is interested, I have a Winchester 120 pump for saie. Price is only $200. This is the shotgun that I have taken to Lou's the past 3 years.
Just say'ing

But you didn't....

This is a big FU to you Mangler. I bet we have had more snow then you. This is just inhuman. You just bought a snow blower. We have gotten use to not needing that crap. I won't buy a snow blower but I am ready to hire a contractor on retainer to move my (or your) snow.

For starters a 10ga is not an elephant gun. It is just a 12ga that uses longer shells and gets an extra 20 to 30 yards on the shot.
As for the snow, sounds to me like someone is not happy with their share of global warming.
Have you run out of places to pile the white stuff yet?
You might want to think about getting the snow off the roof if it is wet and heavy.
Look on the bright side, it will start melting in a couple of months.

Yea Kornball, have you seen the weather forcast for the DC area? We are gonna get another 12 inches over the next two days. With the help of the son-in-law we ahve an avenue to get out in the AM. The wife is absolutly crazy and has to get in to work. I'm out of rum and have to stock up. Just to be closed off again on Wedensday. I did hire a contractor to do the plowing Wedensday. Thats fine, it's just that we are to get more over the weekend.
I'm gonna take pictures and post them. This crap is not new to me. Remember I use to live in North Chicago. That's a whole 20 miles from Lake Geneva, WI. That was also 25 years ago.
Please come get "YOUR" snow.

hey guys, the barak says we have global warming so the snow that is falling nationwide is not really there. but the best news about the snow fall in DC is that if congress is snowed in they can not vote on anything!

Oh, the snow is really here! I can attest to that! I heard if we all buy Carbon Credits from Al Gore, he'll make it all go away. Coming down hard as I type... the wind is what is concerning me though. Just waiting for power to cut out. Been lucky in that regard thus far. Street never got plowed... so I never bothered shoveling out the car. With this added snow we're getting now, I don't expect the Civic will move for at least another week anyway. Main roads looked okay, based on a hike to the store. The four lane roads are down to two. The two lane roads are VERY narrow. Which made walking on them a bit frightening (since the sidewalks didn't get touched). But anything within my neighborhood isn't passable by anything short of a F-250. I'm stocked up on bacon and ice cream... so I'm good for the long haul. As for new toys... I have a couple new uppers inbound. Couple new stripped lowers inbound. BRD has bit me hard, so I'll be making a few new builds. Eyeballing a few new products too... just waiting on one to be released. I think the only person I've told about it is Al. If I do get one, I'm sure it will be a popular item at Lou's. ;D Just need the darn company to stop all the delays and release the thing... and then hope they don't raise their expected MSRP, which is already at the cusp of being above my budget.

Shorty hit the nail on the head. I'm not devistated by this snow. It can't hold a candle to the Ice Storm we had in 1994. Just saying I had less snow in North Chicago in 1984 then what we have now. Mr. Gore can go lto hell in a hand basket. His golobal warming is bull crap. Our last 4 winters have been more cold then the 12 years previous. Sounds like just normal climate change to me.

Actually... sounds like global colding.
I'll need to think of my own scam for that. Gore needs competition.
