Hello all.
Kornball and I were talking today and we realized that we cannot remember when the next Pepperfest is scheduled.
Is it scheduled?? If so, can someone remind us?
Thanks.

Greg,
Peppr can correct me if I'm wrong but I am under the impression that it is the weekend of 15, 16 and 17 of October. Don't you owe me an email?

Actually it is so simple that nothing could possibly go wrong. I think.

I'll be bringing two or three more AR builds, different from last year. A 20" Varmint and a 14.5" M4gery, and maybe a 14.5" dedicated 22LR M4gery if I can get it to feed correctly. Plus the SPS-Tactical.
Which reminds me... I need to get crackin on more 223 reloads, amongst others.
Other possible brings that are "new" as of post Peppr09... Glock 26 (9x19) Mossberg 590SPX (12ga) RRA LAR-8 (308)
And in addition to the above, will likely bring the CZ SP-01 + Kadet, 5" 1911 and Marlin 980V. All the old war rifles will likely stay home this time around.

okay, as it sits right now i am not sure if papa roach is coming(i still plan on kidnapping his guns either way). that being said i am bringing the ruger revolvers, the newish 10/22, the taurus pump, the hi-point .45 acp. and the remi 1100(i may have to retire this one soon it is older than me and i intend to pass it on to the next firstborn son). but i still plan to shot it alot until then!

Saw a sale and I just had to do it. Just picked up a Marlin Model 60 semi automatic 22 long rifle. It's a nice plinking gun, won't win any gun shoots though.

You just had to do it? I don't think anyone had to twist your arm very hard.
As for it being just a plinker that would not win any shoot contests, sounds like an operator issue. ;D Or you could be using the wrong ammo. Mangler and I have gone through aprox. 14 different brands of ammo before we found a type our 22's liked.

allow me to clarify. as i do not have a son of my own i am passing it down to my cousins firstborn when i feel he is ready. since he is only 5 right now i have alot years left to shoot it.
i just think it would be safer at home and.... i will then have an excuse to by a new 12 gauge.

Kevin your an ass! I haven't even shot the gun yet. My thought process for making the statement is that, (a) Semi's can't hold a candle to a bolt action and (b) for what I paid for it I'm not expecting it to be super acurate gun.
Talk about operator error, It won't take me 14 different types of ammo to figure out what works best.

We did not think it would take 14 different rounds either.
We started with the good stuff and then worked our way down to the cheap stuff. Go figure the cheap stuff worked best.
As for being an ass, do you expect anything less from me?
